Quantum Photonics is technology and science that uses quantum optics for applications. Quantum Photonics is increasing in popularity as applications are beginning to pop-up. One application is in the world called “Quantum communication”. It improves the security of information based on concepts such as quantum cryptography or quantum key distribution. Another application is the Quantum Computer. This is a computer that encodes its data in quantum bits. These bits have the benefit of having more than the conventional 2 states, allowing for more efficient computation of complex problems.
Most Quantum Photonics applications involve generation, manipulation and detection of light that is controlled on the quantum level. Additionally, interaction of light with matter plays a big role.

Infleqtion
Our partner Infleqtion has experience with manufacturing Magneto-Optical Traps. Infleqtion evolved from the company Cold-Quanta and provides almost all parts of MOT systems. Cobolt
Without laser sources, there exists no quantum photonics. Therefore we have our partner Cobolt! Cobolt specialises in all kinds of lasers, including lasers for MOT systems, ultra-low noise lasers, tuneable continuous-wave (CW) lasers and single frequency lasers with narrow linewidths (< 30 kHz). TMC
While not limited to Quantum Photonics, all sensitive optical research requires vibration isolation. Our partner TMC has solutions for all vibration-isolation related problems. They provide stiff table-tops that dampen vibrations from your setup. TMC also provides legs (called isolators) for these tops that dampen outside vibrations. Also, sensitive high-end systems that requires a vibration-isolation degree of more than VC-F is not a problem with their STACIS solution. See their specifications for yourself.
Meadowlark
Our Meadowlark Spatial Light Modulators are very suitable for atom trapping and manipulation in quantum physics. Due to the High Phase Stability, Meadowlark SLMs ensure
precise and stable phase modulation, critical for creating interference patterns necessary for atom trapping in quantum photonics.
The customizable wavelength calibrations allow precise use for the specific wavelengths corresponding with the selected atoms and the low wavefront distortion ensure the integrity of the optical traps, maintaining quantum coherence and precision. And by means of the extensive software interface, these SLMs support customers algorithms to generate tailored light fields for quantum experiments.
