Lab Companion laminar flow cabinet

Basically there are three variants, each of which can be supplied with or without a base. The cabinets without a base are placed on a worktop (table or storage cabinet) and if the variant with a base is chosen, they are placed on the floor and are mobile. The three variants are the BC-01H, the BC-11H and the BC-21H. The main difference is the size, the width of the cabinets varies from 945mm (BC-10H) to 2035mm (BC-21H). The height is identical. Below is the table with the exact measurements in mm. The desired (trial) set-up, the (size of) the test sample or the workflow usually determines the size.

Laminar flow cabinet for protection of the research and its environment

A laminar flow cabinet must protect the research (test sample) as well as the researcher and the working environment. When protecting the research, a clean experimental space is important, when protecting the researcher and the environment it mainly concerns the safe removal (filtering) of harmful gases. Lab Companion laminar flow cabinets have a number of unique patented features to achieve both goals. We describe the most important features below:

• Specially developed diffuser ensures good laminar flow
• Identical digital readout and control unit both on the outside and inside for safe and easy control of ventilation and light and reading of flow and humidity.
• Available filters: ULPA, HEPA filter and Pre-filter.
• ISO class 4 (US class 10) HEPA-filter for optimal protection
• 0,3 μm and larger particles are removed with a 99,99% efficiency
• Comfortable front access to filters for easy replacement.
• High-quality polyester fiber pre-filter (with minimal pressure loss and 85% arrestant on the A.F.I. test) to capture larger particles and extend the life of the HEPA main filter.
• When the patented wing door made of tempered glass is opened during UV sterilization, the UV lamp turns off automatically. When the UV lamp is switched off, both the normal light and the ventilation are switched on.
• Work table standard made of stainless steel (#304)
• Energy efficient and quiet (< 65db)
• 2 year warranty

The laminar flow cabinet from Lab Companion can also be called intelligent in terms of maintenance. We talk about smart maintenance because there is real-time monitoring of (HEPA) filter status, digital measurement (differential pressure sensor) and automatic filter replacement notifications. The UV lamp radiation is also measured by a UV sensor so that when the light intensity falls below 80%, a notification appears.
