The inert atmosphere in a glovebox.

These low values ​​of moisture and oxygen (purifier) ​​and solvents (solvent trap) in a glovebox are essential to achieve an inert atmosphere for the various applications and studies. The Korea Kiyon purification systems placed at the bottom of the glovebox have a large absorption volume. This keeps the atmosphere in the glovebox at a stable value of 1ppm or less. Because these purifiers are integrated at the bottom of the glovebox, there is much more work space around the glove box.

An example measurement of a KIYON glovebox that comes out of production shows an O2 measurement (at -10 mbar) that increases by approx. 1 ppm per hour. That is very spacious within the ISO class 1 limit of <0.05 Vol% / hour, even with mounted gloves.
